Baby Shower Cupcakes – novelty and pretty

Baby showers are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and provide the perfect opportunity to bake cupcakes.

I attended a surprise baby shower for a close family friend yesterday and made these cupcakes for all the guests. Mommy-to-be doesn’t know what she’s expecting, so I thought I’d go down the very predictable (some may say stereotypical) pink and blue route.

I wanted to do a few novelty baby shower cupcakes as well as the pretty ones, so here are the cupcakes I made.
