Tea break at the Peggy Porschen Parlour

When we had all finished our flowers we had a short lunch break and so I took the opportunity to wonder over the roaPeggy Porschen Parlourd to the Peggy Porschen Parlour.

You can’t miss it. Sitting pretty in pink on the corner of the street the sweet aroma of cupcakes lures you in as you walk by.

inside Peggy Porschen ParlourInside, the walls are adorned with items to purchase, from delicate tea pot sets to fresh tea leaves, from room scented candles to a range of eponymous kitchen wear.

The smell of sweet treats is seductive and alluring and like Adam and Eve temptation is far too difficult to resist.

Each one looks as delicious as the next and making a choice as to which one you’re going to try becomes more and more difficult the longer you stand there in admiration.Peggy porschen cupcakes

One saving grace for indecisive people like me (although I would like to point out that I only seem to be indecisive when it comes to food, and maybe shoes) is that there are only six cupcake flavours and six large cake flavours in the range, so at least that narrows it down a little bit.

And, with the range changing with each season you could effectively treat yourself to one cupcake every week until the new range comes in – what better excuse do you need?!

I picked up a box of six cupcakes – one of each in case you hadn’t guessed – to take home with me.

The Parlour is every inch as pretty as it looks on the photos so I would definitely recommend you visit and try a cupcake, or six!
