How to Make Cake Pops Video Tutorial

Submitted by on October 17, 2011 – 4:32 pmNo Comment

Cake Pops are like the younger sister of cupcakes – they’re fun, sweet, cute, playful and can be a little bit naughty!

The bite-size cakes on a stick are going down a storm across the pond and the craze is now sweeping the UK withcake pop bakeries popping up (excuse the pun) all over the country – more on that another day.

How to make cake pops

Just like cupcakes they’re easy to eat, great for a range of occasions and will go down a treat with adults and children alike.

A couple of months ago I attempted Cake Pops with some leftover sponge, but because I didn’t figure out how much sponge I had, I didn’t know how much ‘glue’ i’d need to stick it all together. Needless to say, I didn’t even get as far as rolling the cake balls. But, at least I know why!

So, when I found this no-bake cake pop method I thought i’d give it a whirl! And it worked. Fabulously, in fact. So if you’re looking for a quick, easy, simple way to make Cake Pops, with minimum time and mess then take a look at my debut ‘How-To Video’ – just promise not to laugh :-)
